Secondary market partial sales and email notifications

We're pleased to announce two new platform developments have been released today in response to investor feedback.

Secondary market partial sales

The secondary market now provides sellers with an option to allow other investors to buy less than the full listed amount, from a minimum of £100.

As a seller, you can find this option when you click the 'Sell' button for one of your investments.

 

To enable the feature you must check the 'Allow investors to buy less than the full listed amount' box when creating your listing. The feature is available whether you are listing the full investment or part of it.

 

 

A new column in the secondary market listings table shows buyers whether this feature is enables for each loan part that is listed.

 

When viewing a listing that allows partial sales buyers will have the option to buy whole loan part, or specify an amount they wish to purchase from a minimum of £100.

As with existing secondary market sales, they are not final until approved by the administrator. The value of the listing is reduced by the sum of any pending sales to prevent the listing being oversold.

The buyer can review the gross interest due over the remaining loan term before confirming that they want to buy the loan part.

 

 

Secondary Market email notifications

Investors can now enable email notifications that will be sent when new secondary market listing are created. You can find a button to enable these notifications at the top of the secondary market page.
